Recipe for Bars
Sorry no pictures to post YET. I have one more card class this week, and I will post pictures of our projects after Wed. morning.
I did get a lot of requests for the bars I served during class. There is a little background to these bars!! When I was in HIGH SCHOOL (don't make me figure out how many years ago that was!!) I used to work in a grocery store. The bakery there made these AWESOME bars. I remember asking the manager there if I could get the recipe to the bars (so MY MOM could make them for us. LOL) We got the recipe and it is still a hit in our family!! Here it is! Oh great, I just thought of this, I hope I don't get in trouble for publishing this recipe!! Maybe there is like a 25-year rule, kind of like the 5-second rule if you drop something on the ground???
I know, I'll make up a different name for them. Now I will be able to sleep at night.
The new name for this recipe is: Lorri's Yummy Gooey Bars!
