New Catalog Binding

I'm sure many of you have seen this done on SCS, but just thought I would share this with you in case you haven't. I went to Office Max and had my catalog spiral bound. There is a nice clear plastic on the front and a black harder plastic on the back. This will protect your catalog from excessive page turning and browsing through it with coffee nearby. LOL It cost a total of $4.99 for the spiral binding and plastic protectors.

In case you don't have a catalog, please let me know and I will get one in your hands! If you are out of town, I can easily ship it to you. We can start ordering from this new catalog on Jan. 2nd.

RAK NEW YEARS CARD

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I got this awesome card from my downline, Adriana Gray. (I think this is the first New Years Card I have ever received!) Isn't it beautiful? She did a great job, using DP Holiday Harmony from the Winter Mini Catalog. Thanks so much Ada! This is a PERFECT card to post on my blog for the New Year!

Spiderman Card

Here is some of the Thank You cards I made for my son's birthday gifts. He is OBSESSED with Spiderman, so of course, I needed to come up with a Spiderman themed card.

NEW CATALOG AVAILABLE!

The NEW CATALOG has arrived!!! I can't wait to show it to you! Stampin' Up comes out their main catalog twice a year now, so that is why it may seem EARLY to be hearing about a new catalog already.

Please let me know if you are interested in reserving a copy of one. They are a great resource for IDEAS, not to mention all the FUN NEW stamp sets and accessories jam packed inside. You won't be disappointed! Call or email me to reserve a copy, only $5!!

I will be sending out an email shortly, detailing the January classes that I will be holding this month. Check back for class dates and times.

Here's a little ditty I found on the internet. Now that the holidays are over, my hands can't wait to get back to stamping!

To the tune of "Let it Snow" . . .ready? Sing with me now!

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the inks look so delightful
So while the winter is cold and damp
Let us stamp! Let us stamp! Let us stamp!

It doesn't take much convincing
And I've brought a tool for crimping
Choose some paper, turn up the lamp
Let us stamp! Let us stamp! Let us stamp!

When we carefully press just right
How we smile as the image unfolds
Add some color, so bold, so bright
The result is a sight to behold!

Our projects are quickly drying
And there's new techniques for trying
So until we get finger cramps
Let us stamp! Let us stamp! Let us stamp!

MORE PAGES TO CHRISTMAS COFFEE TABLE SCRAPBOOK

Here are more pages to my Christmas Coffee Table Scrapbook.

Coffee Table Scrapbook

Since I'm not creating a lot right now, due to the holiday, I thought I would post some ideas that are already done.

I like to put a big 12x12 scrapbook on my coffee table during the holidays. In the scrapbook, I limit each year to ONE 2-page spread of my Christmas card and letter for that year. It is a fun conversation piece when we have company over during the holidays. They can quickly and easily scan the scrapbook and see what happened during the year through my Christmas letter, and see how we have all changed at a glance at our picture Christmas card. I started this when our oldest son was born, which means I have 25 years of holiday pictures and letters!
These pages are SO FAST because the letter and card take up most of the space!
This picture above is the 2007 2-page spread. Check back again, I will post a few more years. Don't worry, I won't bore you with 25 years of our family, just a few more years. LOL

JEWELED COASTER

This is a Christmas gift I made for my Stampin' Up! sideline pal, Nancy Riley. It was fun to make, but I really wanted to do it in HOLIDAY COLORS, but couldn't find the right stones. Anyhow, FALL COLORS had to do.... I found the stones at Michael's, also. I used E-6000 to glue them on.

I found the coasters at Michael's. You can put pictures in the back of them where I put the Designer Paper. I didn't have any good pictures of Nancy's family, so I just did the paper in the squares.

HEILING CHRISTMAS CARD 2007

Here is the Christmas card for our family this year. These are our 3 kids. They are (left to right), 25 year old son Brook, 4 year old son Brady (SURPRISE baby for us!!!), and 19 year old daughter Brittany. Please remember our son Brook in your prayers, he is an Air Force pilot and will be deployed overseas on Dec. 28th.

This is a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" card (not counting the scallop at the top).

Here is the recipe:

Stamp Set: Many Merry Messagess (I used the saying Joy expressed, Love shared, a Miracle celebrated.) This is stamped on the inside of the card.
Ink: Basic Black (on the inside saying)
Paper: Brocade Blue, Whisper White
Accessories: Cuttlebug snowflake, snowflake punch, Giga scallop punch, organza ribbon, silver cord, white gel pen, Stickles (color is "Crystal"). I tried other white Stickles, but this one is a lot more SPARKLY! Sorry you can't tell in the picture. I used stickles all over the white parts of the card (centers of snowflakes) and on the snowflake punch that has the year on it.

Card for Shelli

I made this card for Shelli Gardner because her mother passed away on Sun. evening. Shelli is a co-founder of Stampin' UP! I was inspired by the card on SCS found HERE.

The envelope is a real CD case. The address is just printed on the other side of the window envelope. I also enclosed a CD of some songs I that I like to play after my dad passed away 3 years ago. Anytime I am missing my dad, I just pop the CD in and it reminds me that he is in a better place, at the feet of JESUS!

Delight In Life

This is a card I sent to my friend, Nancy Riley, a few days ago. I quick added it to my blog because Nancy mentioned it on her blog today. (Thanks Nancy!) What she didn’t mention was that I cased this card from someone on SCS. Now for the life of me, I can’t find the original card, so if anyone happens to stumble across one like this, please send it to me so I can give HER the credit! LOL I like to give credit where credit is due. Thanks for stopping by!

RETIRED LIST POSTED!

Hi Gals

Well CRAZY ME stayed up until midnight last night waiting for the retired list to come out! Here is the link of the sets that will NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE after Jan. 2nd. Click HERE to see the list.

What this means for YOU is that I will be happy to put in an order for you in Dec. for any of these sets! Please call or email if you see any sets that you might be intersted in.

Here is a picture of one of the cards we did at my "World Card making Day" workshop. Today I will be sending these cards that we made to troops that are serving our country overseas. These men and women will be awy from their families over the holidays. It makes me feel BLESSED that our family can be together! Our son is in the Air Force and I'm sure will spend a holiday or two away from us, so I really do have a heart for these people!
