Cheesy Valentine's Day Treat

I was playing around with some Valentine's Day stamps today. I might do these for my son's preschool class. Inside I have bag of CHEETO's. Get it? LOL Silly...I know.... I did have to poke a pin in the Cheetos bag to let the air out, because the bag was too big. Hope they aren't stale by Valentine's Day! LOL

I was inspired by Jill Hilliard, and her blog can be found HERE.

The triangle box pattern can be found on SCS HERE

Recipe:

Stamp Set: Happy Heart Day

Paper: Summer Sun, Whisper White, Real Red

RAK From My Upline Barbara Welch

Look at the RAK I received from my upline, Barabara Welch! You can find more details on this darling calendar project on her blog, HERE. It is so cool how it is put together. You flip it around to view the other sides of it and it is held all together at the bottom with a ribbon. SUCH A CREATIVE design! I LOVE having a calendar next to my computer. THANKS BARBARA!!

January weSTAMP Meeting

Our weSTAMP group met last night. We were BUZZING because it has been a month and a half since we last met, due to the holidays. We had such a great evening, and it was so nice to see everyone again.

No meeting is held without some awesome treats. Look at what PAM made! They are almost too pretty to eat, and they almost look like "stamping style" cupcakes! They were as yummy as they look, too! Thanks Pam, for a wonderful snack!

Diana provided the make and take. She taught us how to make a "Waterfall" card. These are the neatest cards because when you pull down on the bottom part, the boxes you see flip up. It is an interactive card! I went to SCS and found a tutorial on how to make these. It can be found HERE. THANK YOU DIANA, for providing a beautiful card! Here is a picture of the one I made, showcasing a stamp set (Polka Dot Punches) from the Sale a Bration brochure.

Here are our swaps for January. The theme was a SIMPLE, demonstratable card with not too many layers or embellishments.

Last but not least, the door prize! Nancy made this CUTE bundle of Valentine treats! Tammy was the LUCKY WINNER!! Isn't it darling? She got a mailbox tin to decorate (with treats inside), an altered candy heart box with candy hearts inside, a photo holder, a paper-clip bookmark, PINK M&M's, and a darling magazine holder with some small cards inside. You can find the directions for the magazine holder and cards on Nancy's blog,

Snowman Hot Chocolate Cup

Here is another project we did with the class I am teaching at church. I got the pattern from Colleen off of SCS HERE. I see a lot of potential with this pattern! (coffee, tea, hot chocolate.....) I did "tweak" the pattern a bit....I am always looking for an easier way, and to save time. I re-made the handle so the oval punch could be used, instead of hand-cutting the handle.

Recipe:
Paper: Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Only Orange, Basic Black
Accessories: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, 1 3/8/Large Oval Punches, Baja Breeze Striped Ribbon, Sticky Strip

Be sure and use Sticky Strip for the sides and bottom of cup to make sure it is super strong to hold the cocoa.

January Girls Day/Night Out

I apologize for the GRAY letters on today's post. For some reason it won't let me change it to BLACK. #@$%#$^#%#!! I will keep trying.

Here are the cards we did at my regular Girl's Day/Night Out this month.

This card is called a "gate fold" card. The card is cut like a regular sized card, but scored at 2 1/8" on each side.

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Love You Much
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Riding Hood Red
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Non SU Circle and Scallop Punches/Trio Flower Punch, Brad, Cuttlebug

I was inspired by a couple different cards for this baby card. I found the cute boat image on my friend, Nancy Riley's card. Check out her blog, iSTAMP! It is incredible! The actual card can be found HERE.

The design of the card was inspired by Nicole Heady. Nicole's blog can be found HERE.
I have tried and tried to find her version of this card on her blog and for the life of me I can't find it!! If you see it, please let me know so I can link it. It's not exact, but she had the curve cut on the main cardstock, and that's what I CASED from her.

The flag has a "bump" in it to simulate a flying banner type flag on a boat.

What would I do without these awesome gals who truly do inspire me?
