I knew I wanted to use this stamp set for Stamp Club this month. The night before class I saw this card posted by Lynn HERE and loved how the words popped out when you pulled the tag out. CLEVER! I used mostly new In Colors for this card.

Key Lime Pie and Cookie Dough Truffles, OH MY!
I had some requests to post the recipes of what I served at my Girl's Day/Night Out this month, so here they are!
The first one was from my childhood days! My mom's best friend made this at a picnic! I was about 9 years old and I remember asking my mom to get the recipe from her! It is a family favorite and always a hit in the summertime!
KEY LIME PIE
1 graham cracker crust
Mix:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 T. lime juice
6 T. lemon juice
1 pkg. lemon-lime Kool Aid (the old fashioned CHEAP envelope kind)
Let this set 5 mn. Using mixer, mix in a medium tub of Cool Whip (8 oz. tub)
Put this in pie shell, and set in refrigerator. Must be kept cool.
This next recipe I found on one of my favorite bloggers, Laurie. Her blog is "Stamping Up North" and can be found HERE. If you click on her RECIPES sidebar, you will find OODLES of yummy things to make there! I still think she could write a cookbook! I already know the next recipe I am going to try!
Anywhoooo.....that is where I found this treat that I served. They are ADDICTING! She has a prettier picture on her blog of these sweets, but here is my lame picture of these in production.

Cookie Dough Truffles

Cookie Dough Truffles
1/2 C. butter
3/4 C. brown sugar
2 1/4 C. flour
1/2 can sweetened condensed milk (this is about 1/2 C + 2 T.)
1 t. vanilla
Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, milk and vanilla.
Stir in:
1/2 C. mini chocolate chips
1/2 C. walnuts (optional! I didn't add this to mine)
Shape into 1" balls and freeze until firm.
Melt:
1 1/2 lbs. semi-sweet candy coating
Dip balls in chocolate. Store in refrigerator. One batch makes about 46 dough balls (depending on how much you sneak while preparing.)

July Girl's Day/Night Out Projects
These are the Girl's Day/Night out projects we made this month. FUN FUN group of gals! Oh how I look forward to these get togethers!
I made a cheat sheet to show what punches and how many of each you will need to make this. I also showed the placement of the burger fixings without the top bun on it. (The cheese isn't a punch, it is 3/4" x 3/4" cut square.)

Recipe:
Nancy Riley showed us the "medallion" technique at our last weSTAMP meeting. HERE is the card we made. This really is fun and easy! I was also inspired by Wendy Janson's card, that used these two colors together. Take a peek at a beautiful card she did using these colors! Click HERE.
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Priceless
Paper: Sahara Sand, So Saffron, SAB Designer Paper, Whisper White
Ink: So Saffron
Accessories: So Saffron Grosgrain Ribbon, Stickles (on butterfly), Scallop Edge Punch
I was inspired by Jodi Collin's card on SCS HERE. I loved how she made the porthole looking out to the ocean at the whale.
I saw this burger card on Karen's blog (HERE) and have been WAITING for summer to use this! (I think she found the pattern on HEATHER'S blog. This idea is getting quite a history! I altered the burger a little bit and changed out the paper. This is a simple card showcasing the versatility of PUNCHES!

Mr. Brown Obsession
Boy we sure have FUN at our weSTAMP meetings!! In case you don't know what weSTAMP is, let me tell you! Nancy Riley (iSTAMP) and I hold monthly downline meetings to meet with our downline members. We CREATE, train, encourage, learn from others, LAUGH, swap, eat yummy food, and MAKE NEW FRIENDS!!! If YOU are interested in joining our group, please email me and let me know. Don't hesitate if you are an out-of-towner! We have out of state members who participate, too! You will be included in emails, and can take part in swapping, too. We have our own personal website which is an AWEOME tool for staying connected.
Watch for future postings, there is going to be an AWESOME deal going on for new recruits starting on July 15th. It's a SMALL investment for GREAT rewards and DISCOUNTS! Details to follow on my blog.
We had our monthly meeting last night. Our swap theme was ANYTHING GOES! That means we could make a card or 3-D item. This is what I made. I saw this on Susie's blog, which you can find HERE. (She also has a downloadable pattern for this truck on her blog.) Check it out! You can make ANY kind of truck! My son made a bus and a mailtruck with this same pattern.
I also put a picture of the new catty in a plastic key ring that I ordered from Oriental Trading Company. The catty key chain was stuck in the back of the UPS truck.
Some people just don't "get" this 3-D item. (Like my husband.) If you are a Stampin' Up demonstrator, I know you understand our obsession with "Mr. Brown".
I will post the rest of our swaps SOON! I need to get some pictures taken!!
