"I'm Dreaming of a.........Yellow/Orange/White Halloween"!

In case you didn't know this about me, I LOVE CANDY CORN anything! In fact, I could probably officially say I started collecting candy corn decorations. So......here is a tribute to my little addiction!

When one of our fellow weSTAMPERS, Barbara, made these for our swap last month, I KNEW I was going to CASE it! You can see Barbara's swap from last month in this post HERE. Aren't these the cutest things ever? These little cards have Bath and Body Works Halloween hand sanitizers inside! Even the hand sanitizer is smells like candy corn!

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Basic Black, Daffodi Delight, Whisper White, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Happy Haunting DP
Ink: Cajun Craze
Accessories: Scallop Oval Punch, Large/Small Oval Punches, 1/2"/1/4" Circle Punches, Owl Punch, Black Brads, Dimensionals, Stamp a Ma Jig
To make the box pattern, check out the pattern and easy to follow instructions on Erica's incredible blog, which can be found HERE.
To make the candy corn (out of punches), read my post from last year, which can be found HERE.
Last but not least, I wanted to share with you THE BEST Halloween treat there is! If you like the candy bar Salted Nut Rolls, you will love this combination of candy corn and salted peanuts together. This is a STAPLE in our house around Halloween.

Just love the idea of the punch 'think bubbles' - I feel a few thinking critters coming on! LOL

Have you ever tried the yummy candy corn/peanut mix with different flavors of candy corn? I made it last year and our local grocery store had caramel and other flavored candy corns - it was soooo yummy - now I'm craving it! Where'd you find the cute Candy Corn hand sanitizer? Looks like the size/shape that Bath & Body Works sells. Very cute project idea - thanks for sharing!

One year I made about 20 pounds of this mix!! Well, let me tell you...DISASTER!!! I mixed it before I actually needed it and stored it in a sealed container. WELLLLLLL....imagine my surprise when I tried to eat the candy! It was as hard as a brick...could easily break a tooth! Apparently, the peanuts absorb every ounce of moisture out of the candy!!! Don't mix it too soon!
