Winter Card

A lot of people are getting snow across the US today so I thought today would be a good day to post this card. This is one of the cards we did at Stamp Club this month.

I LOVE this "shadow" technique. I had never tried it until I saw the tutorial on Michelle Zindorf's blog. I didn't realize it would be so easy! You can find the link to the tutorial, and the card I CASED,
HERE. By the way, you will be blown away by Michelle's blog! She definitely has the "brayer" technique down! I am so excited I am going to be taking one of her classes when she is in AZ in January! I don't have the brayer technique down yet, so I just sponged my background.

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Welcome Christmas, Season of Friendship, Lovely as a Tree
Paper: Night of Navy, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Night of Navy, Baja Breeze (blues are for the sky)
Accessories: Stamp A Ma Jig (plastic part), Dazzling Diamonds (on trees), Glue Pen

In Michelle's tutorial she used Sahara Sand for the shadow part, but I preferred black so it would stand out a little more.

I love your take on Michelle's card. By the way, I took Michelle's brayering classes when they came to town. She is a fantastic teacher and very inspiring!
