You may recall the purse we did at our weSTAMP TROPICAL EXTRAVAGANZA PARTY, which was posted HERE. (Tutorial for the purse available on Becky Robert's blog, INKING IDAHO, which can be found HERE.) We had so much fun and Becky's purse was a perfect project for a bunch of stamping fanatics! :)

Another idea using the Tool Box/Gardening Tutorial

Here is another idea for using the Tool Box/Gardening Tutorial that I previously posted HERE. The MINITURE goodies in the tote are Barbie sized! This would be a fun little gift idea for the Stamper who has everything!

The back side of the tote is where you can put a gift certificate. The blank area is for YOU to fill in....Happy Birthday.....Thank You.....Congratulations......or even personalize it with her name!

To purchase the tutorial for the basic box pattern, please refer to the link on the right hand side of my blog. THANK YOU!!! (Tutorial is FREE with any online order on my Stampin' Up website, which is found HERE.

More Purses....

I forgot to post these!! I made these a couple weeks ago and gave them to Brady's teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. Once again, I used Becky Robert's tutorial, which can be found HERE. LOVE LOVE LOVE this pattern!!

It was so much fun filling these purses! I put gum in the skinny outside pocket. Inside I put a thank you card (that matched, of course! LOL), a package of kleenex, pen, paper, mints, a gift card to their favorite stores, and I think I threw a small lotion in.

These Products Are STILL Available!!

Did you know that many of the products that were featured in the past mini catalogs are still available? Click on the picture below to see all the products that are still available!

Place any online order with me and you will receive the Tool Box/Flower Box for FREE! Click HERE to go to my Stampin' Up website.

Barbara's swap:

Lorri's swap:

If you remember my "Sweet Scoops" card (found HERE), you can see I used the same folding technique for this card. The punched monkey part of this card I found on Stampers Showcase, which is a website available to Stampin' Up demonstrators. That's why I can't put a link here, but her name was Nicole Papolio. She was so sweet to email me the sizes of all the punches she used on her monkey.

Recipe:
Stamp Set: On Your Birthday, Tropical Party
Paper: Whisper White, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Basic Black
Accessories: Straw, Dimensionals, Brads, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, LOTS of punches! Here they all are:
Head: 1 3/8", 1"
Ears: 1/2", 1/4"
Eyes: 1/4"
Mouth: Small Oval (used that for the lips, too, just punch it twice close to each other, then nip off ends when you layer it on the other oval). Put a dimensional on his mouth to make it pop from his face.
Body: 1 3/8", 1"
Hands, Feet, Tail: Freehand
Sentiment: Word Window, Modern Label

Last but not least, Linda B. made this AWESOME door prize! I wanted to win it SO BAD because I thought it would make an awesome tote for my swaps at Convention this year! Melissa was the lucky winner.

weSTAMP TROPICAL EXTRAVAGANZA!

We have been anticipating this weSTAMP meeting for over a month now! We decided to do a TOTAL night of stamping, and here is the project we made.

Thanks to Becky Roberts, we had a really FUN pattern to use our new Island Oasis Designer Paper! We used Becky's PURSE-ONALLY PERFECT NOTES tutorial, which can be found on her blog HERE. Her patterns are incredible! They have large, detailed photos of every step so you can easily duplicate her projects! THANKS BECKY!

The theme of the evening was TROPICAL, so as the stampers arrived, they got a little "Island Welcome."

NOTE: Check out the little beach bags next to the purse. I happened to see Gretchen Barron's blog the other day. As soon as I saw them I knew I had to CASE them for our party tonight! You can find her blog HERE. I also saw these on Patti Lee's blog, which can be found HERE. You've got to check out her blog, too! She even has a matching straw hat to go with this bag!! Thanks for the inspiration gals!

We had a great time tonight.....it was so fun to stamp a fun girlie, SUMMER project. We ate WONDERFUL tropical food, and had the best time catching up with everyone. What an awesome group this is. I am BLESSED to be a part of it!
Do you want to be a part of weSTAMP? Please contact me and find out how you can take part in the fun! Local, OR out of state, we INCLUDE YOU! Please email me for details, I'd love for you to join my team!
Check back tomorrow I will post photos of our swaps for this month. I think you're going to like them!

Teacher Appreciation Week

I'm so far behind in my posting!! Here is one of the items I gave to Brady's Kindergarten teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week. She likes containers to hold lots of things in her class, so thought a teacher/themed one might be fun for her.

I just used tacky glue and glued pencils around a glass container!

May Stamp Club Projects

Here are a couple of the cards we made in May Stamp Club!!

I made this card about a month ago for a swap I was in. I can finally share it with you because I have been saving it to use for Stamp Club this month. (I like to save the cards used for Stamp Club so it is a SURPRISE each month!)

I originally saw the layout (concept and folds) of this card on Bev's blog, which can be found HERE. I love the fold of this card and thought it would go well with our Sweet Scoops Ice Cream stamp set.

Recipe:

Stamp Set: Sweet Scoops
Ink: Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Blush Blossom, Pretty in Pink
Paper: Whisper White, Creamy Caramel, Pretty in PinkAccessories: Word Window Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, White Organza Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Glue Pen, Dimensionals

Awning is a rectangle 4 1/4" x 2" and scored at 3/8" and 1 1/4"
Bottom (pink) is 4 1/4" x 3 1/4" and scored at 2 1/2"

Here is a "recipe" of the color and paper combos.

The next card was inspired by one of our fellow weSTAMPERS, Linda Rodenberg! She gave our group a 3-mn. demo at our last meeting, on how to make pansies out of the butterfly punch. I fell in love with these, and found some cute cards online using this technique. I think Dawn Olchefske is the originator of this technique. You can find her blog, AND a video tutorial HERE.

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Many Thanks

Paper: Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant
Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Summer Sun
Accessories: Aqua Painter, Butterfly Punch, Brads, Reinkers, Manhatten Flower Embossing Folder, Dimensionals
