October weSTAMP Swaps and Gathering

Did I catch your attention with this adorable baby? He is SO PRECIOUS and really stole the show at our weSTAMP meeting this month! Remember the baby shower we threw for Pam? (See this post HERE.) INTRODUCING.......KYLE, who came 6 weeks early! What a BEAUTIFUL BABY!

Linda R provided our cute little Santa treat hat Make 'n Take. Isn't this cute? It was a lot easier than I thought it would be! The cardstock is embossed using the Petals a Plenty embossing folder. The pattern was found on Kimberly Van Diepen's blog, which can be found HERE.

The swap theme this month was to make a Christmas/Holiday/Winter card or 3-D item. I tell you when we swap, it is like Christmas every month! Here they are!

Terri GRACIOUSLY provided the "recipe" for the Santa. Terri has an "EYE" for punch art, wouldn't you agree?

MORE RAK's!

Here's another RAK from across the miles! This one is from Karen Thomas, who lives in Australia! If you haven't seen Karen's blog, you have to check it out. You can find her on Luv to Stamp. Her blog will BLOW YOU AWAY! Karen and I have become Stamping Pen Pals, and we take turns sending each other cards and in this case, TREATS! This has been so much fun!

She made this beautiful decorated bag with the cutest little tag on it, plus a matching 3x3 card. Inside the bag was a darling Koala bear Christmas ornament, along with AUSSIE CHOCOLATE!!! (For you weSTAMPERS out there, she included a treat for us, too, so I will share that with you tonight at our weSTAMP gathering!)

Just had to share the "fun mail" I have been getting! THANK YOU so much Karen!

RAK!

Look what my stamping friend Sandi Sohn sent me!! :) Isn't this adorable? "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" is one of my all time favorite classic movies, so OF COURSE I fell in love with this card! (I want to frame it!) The picture doesn't do it justice, the pumpkins are 3-D so it looks like Snoopy and Linus really are buried in pumpkins! She sponged the background! I seriously thought she bought the paper like that! THANKS SANDI! What a beautiful card!

Banquet

In case you are MOVING and wanting to make new connections, I HIGHLY recommend checking out the JUST MOVED Christian organization. This Bible study is for women who are NEW to an area. I plugged into this study as soon as we moved to AZ. There are studies meeting all over the world! I encourage you to check out the JUST MOVED website, which can be found HERE.

Last month I had the PRIVILEGE to help at a banquet to honor the JUST MOVED volunteers. My good friend, Lana, had the vision, and asked if I could make some crafty type things for it. Of course I said YES with no hesitation! Here are some of the things I made for the evening.

Since JUST MOVED is all about moving to a new area, and UNPACKING, I decided a suitcase theme for the party favors would be perfect! These suitcases were made with the Matchbox Die. I CASED Kim Sinclair's suitcases, which can be found HERE. You've GOT to check out her incredible BLOG! She is one creative gal!
The Hershey nuggets are wrapped in paper that is a map.

We arranged the suitcase party favors in one of Lana's decorative suitcases and made a luggage tag for it.

Water Bottles

Signs for all the salads

Cupcake Toppers
I had so much fun making these.
Thanks for stopping by!

When one of our fellow weSTAMPERS, Barbara, made these for our swap last month, I KNEW I was going to CASE it! You can see Barbara's swap from last month in this post HERE. Haunted House

I have had this house for quite some time, and just haven't gotten around to altering it. I'm about ready to start on Christmas projects, so I thought I better get going on this! It was SO MUCH FUN TO MAKE! These houses are so easy to assemble. After assembling the house, I sprayed it with a matte black paint.

To make the bat, I just spread Tombo glue all over the bat and then some chunky glitter! I bent the wings back so he pops off the door.

Do you recognize these witch's feet? I used the same pattern as on my weSTAMP swap last month. You can see the post and get the FREE pattern on my other post
HERE. The stockings are part of the "Wicked Fun Specialty" Designer Series Paper.
