This was another card we made at my Girl's Day/Night Out this month. I was inspired by Tiffany Bauer's card, which you can view HERE. She has some wonderful ideas on her blog and is super creative!! The JOY was stamped first, then masked, and then the wreath was stamped ontop of the JOY.

Another Christmas Card!

Here is another card we did at Stamp Club this month.

This is a TOTAL CASE of Michele Reynold's card, which can be found HERE. It's hard to see, but the ornament punch was used on the crumb cake cardstock, and then a small piece of the new Stampin' Up fabric was taped on the back side of the cardstock. I stuck about 1/2 of a cotton ball in there so the ornament "poofs"out a bit. These are fun to make, and it's something different!

The greenery was made by using one of the trees from Lovely as a Tree.

Recipe:
Stamp Set: All Holidays, Lovely as a Tree
Paper: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke
Accessories: Ornament Punch, Stampin' Up Fabric, Cottonball, Hemp Twine, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon

Winter Card

A lot of people are getting snow across the US today so I thought today would be a good day to post this card. This is one of the cards we did at Stamp Club this month.

I LOVE this "shadow" technique. I had never tried it until I saw the tutorial on Michelle Zindorf's blog. I didn't realize it would be so easy! You can find the link to the tutorial, and the card I CASED,
HERE. By the way, you will be blown away by Michelle's blog! She definitely has the "brayer" technique down! I am so excited I am going to be taking one of her classes when she is in AZ in January! I don't have the brayer technique down yet, so I just sponged my background.

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Welcome Christmas, Season of Friendship, Lovely as a Tree
Paper: Night of Navy, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Night of Navy, Baja Breeze (blues are for the sky)
Accessories: Stamp A Ma Jig (plastic part), Dazzling Diamonds (on trees), Glue Pen

In Michelle's tutorial she used Sahara Sand for the shadow part, but I preferred black so it would stand out a little more.

Stamp A Stack Photos

Here are the Stamp a Stack cards we made this month!

The first one was a CASE of a birthday card layout that I found on Angie Leach's blog HERE. I just substituted Christmas paper and sentiment!

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Loads of Love (Inside says Wishing You Loads of Holiday Cheer)
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Holly Jolly DP, Old Olive, Very Vanilla
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Polka Dot Embossing folder, 1/8" Real Red Taffeta Ribbon

The sizes of the gifts are (top to bottom): 5/8" x 3/4", 3/4" x 3/4", 1" x 3/4", and 1 1/4" x 7/8"

Sorry the color isn't great on this first photo!!

Here's a photo of this card from the side. You can see I punched out the "world" and put a dimensional in back of it to give it a POP. It looks more like a real ornament in real life.

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Peaceful Season
Paper: Night of Navy, Brushed Silver
Ink: Craft Metallic Silver, Versa Mark
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, (the "world" ornament), Embosser, Snow Flurries Embossing Folder, Diamond "Bling" Jewels, Dimensionals

This card is a TOTAL CASE from Angie Kennedy Juda. Fell in LOVE with this card when I saw it and didn't change a thing! Very VINTAGE! You can see her card
HERE. The picture doesn't pick up the champagne shimmer mist at all, and that is my favorite part of this card!

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Christmas Collage, All Holidays
Paper: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Ink: Early Espresso
Accessories: 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Crochet Trim Victoria, Decorative Label Punch, Champagne Shimmer Paint

Winter Baby Boy Gift

I have boxes and drawers FULL of little projects that I have made over the years....sometimes I wonder what I will ever do with all of them! I dug this one out that I made about 1 1/2 years ago. You can see the original post HERE, plus the link to the carriage pattern.

I am going to a baby shower today, and put this gift ensemble together. I found these cute little Department 56 baby ornaments at Target. I included a gift card to Target so the mama can choose whatever she needs. I hope she likes this!

Microwave Caramel Corn Recipe

I made this for my Stamp a Stack classes last week. This is the most requested recipe that I own! CAUTION, this is ADDICTING and has quite a few calories! But it is OHHHHHHH SOOOO GOOD and easy to make!

Microwave Caramel Corn

½ C. butter
1 C. brown sugar
¼ C. dark Karo syrup
Dash of salt

Microwave on high 4 mn. in a glass bowl. Stir after 2 mn.

Then add:
½ t. baking soda
1/8 t. vanilla

Stir until fluffy. Pour this over the puffed popcorn (I use one full bag of the popcorn) that is in a large Tupperware bowl (or one that is ok to go back into the microwave.) Stir this up, then microwave for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.

Spread this out on wax paper to let it cool.

If you want added sweetness, melt some chocolate almond bark and drizzle over the caramel corn. I put this in the refridgerator so the chocolate gets hardened. Then take out and break it up into smaller pieces.

Note: Here is a photo of the puffcorn that I get. This is the secret to yummy caramel corn! I have found it at Safeway and Albertsons in AZ.

Santa Claus Post It Note Purse

This project was inspired by one of my downline, Tracy Simon. She made THIS swap for our weSTAMP group in September. Tracy's blog can be found HERE. She has some creative on her blog!

As soon as I saw her darling post it note purse, I KNEW this was what I wanted to do for my Stamp Club members this year! I just put a Christmas twist to it! My Stamp Club members didn't get the cute little stamp pad in the center, though. Unfortunately, Target's Dollar Spot isn't quite ahead of the times as those of us who stamp, so I had to put boring yellow pads in theirs. (Thanks Jennie, for keeping me in the loop to what is in the Dollar Spot at Target!)

If you have Google Reader, you can access the FREE pattern HERE.

Recipe:
Paper: Poppy Parade, Basic Black, Brushed Silver
Accessories: 3/4" Circle Punch, Poppy Parade 1/2" Stitched Poly-Ribbon, Clear Tinsel Trim

Peaceful Season Card

I attended the Stampin' Up Convention this summer, and this stamp set was a FREE GIFT to us! I just LOVE this set!

I was in a "Control Freaks" swap this fall, and I got a very similar one from (once again) Connie Babbert! You can see her original card HERE. I use the Top Note die a lot, and I love how she used the diagonal effect for this card!
The poinsettia was made with the 5 petal flower punch. I used a bone folder to curl back the edges of the petals.
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Peaceful Wishes

Paper: Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Deck the Halls DP
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: 5 Petal Flower Punch, Large Ivory Brads, Always Artichoke Seam Binding Ribbon, Dimensionals
